yeah dont pick them up with bear hands ,and blend your bait up so they have to stop and eat ,and hope you have more luck than i did with traps the little shits nicked the bait not setting off the hair trigger trap ,dont want to talk about it

Will I need a red filter for my head torch? Or will it be okay as it is?

i wouldnt worry about the red filter, use the brightest light you can to spot em scurrying about.
