Purple brocoli seems to be rhe new fad vegetable as the supermarkets are selling it.

im not a brocoli lover anyway.
but ive eatent the purple one, and I couldn't tell any difference.
but I don't eat it often enough to have noticed
probably only have broccoli about 3 times a year.
that will change now we have a allotment though cos my OH loves the stuff.

homegrown is bound to have a better flavour than the shop bought though. everything else does.

thats not new, we've been eating purple sprouting broccoli for several years.
