RE: Weather Threats & the Egyptian River - Mortblanc - 21 April 2021

Well gentlemen here it is 21 April and I have mowed the garden three times in the last three weeks, all the trees are in full leaf, I went on a motorbike ride in 20 degree weather yesterday, and have been using the AC in the Jeep almost each trip for the past few weeks. I was considering breaking protocol and planting the veg patch early this year.

Last night at ten the temp started dropping and at 11pm it began to rain, then it stopped. The temp had dropped to near 0. It had been raining very hard and I looked outside into the darkness. Imaging my surprise to see snow falling thickly. Big, wet, heavy flakes that piled up for 6 hours and gave us a 75mm cover of white by daylight.

We went from 22c to 75mm of snow on the ground in less than 8 hours.

Apparently its not over until it is over. Spring still has not sprung.
