makes you wonder if the usa is starting to except preppers at least they expect them to help themselves rather than be kept in the dark like over here .

Good point tigs, up to 911 the Yank gummint was as hostile to survivalism as the Brit gummint was, " Hoarders" Terrorists, nut jobs, gun nuts, psychos, weirdos etc was the mantra they even murdered innocent women and children at Ruby Ridge and Waco in their efforts to destroy us. Then 911 saw an instant 360 which was re-enforced by H Andrew and the New Orleans Hurricanes and suddenly survivalism became absolutely encouraged. Then we got Madrid, Shasrm El Sheik, Bala, London, Moscow, Beslan, Mumbai and suddenly her majesties gummint are also telling people to built 72 hour kits and skills. No longer as we loons and kooks except to the media.

You forget, its not just the media that are biased against us, so are most people over here still.
Most people over here are still chasing the good life in pubs at the weekend and keeping up with the joneses, totally oblivious to whats happening here and in the rest of the world apart from what they read in the daily rags.
and see on x-factor. Were still a long way from being accepted as "normal" over here, you still get the kook factor if you mention about prepping to a lot of people. To most people preppers equal hoarders who may be unbalanced and mentally ill, possibly having illegal weapons who wont share their stuff if anything happens.

The gov always hit from two angles, one body of gov agree while the other (backed by media and the sheeple army persecute. Like the kray twins the gov are only affective attacking from opposite angles.
