funnily enough FEMA is bringing out a new drill nationwide for just such an event....
I tried to be normal once.... Worst two minutes of my life...

Has anyone checked out the FEMA page about it's response to emergencies?

It basically says 'We will get to you when we can, but until then, you're on your own....unlucky!!!' I kid you not (well maybe the unlucky bit was a joke, but the rest is spot on.

Even FEMA says people should prepare themselves and take care of themselves.
