Obama Executive Order Seizes U.S. Infrastructure, Citizens for Military Preparednes

In a stunning move, on March 16, 2012, Barack Obama signed an Executive Order stating that the President and his specifically designated Secretaries now have the authority to commandeer all domestic U.S. resources including food and water. The EO also states that the President and his Secretaries have the authority to seize all transportation, energy, and infrastructure inside the United States as well as forcibly induct/draft American citizens into the military. The EO also contains a vague reference in regards to harnessing American citizens to fulfill “labor requirements” for the purposes of national defense.
Not only that, but the authority claimed inside the EO does not only apply to National Emergencies and times of war. It also applies in peacetime.

The National Defense Resources Preparedness Executive Order exploits the “authority” granted to the President in the Defense Production Act of 1950 in order to assert that virtually every means of human survival is now available for confiscation and control by the President via his and his Secretaries’ whim.

That's one of the scariest pieces of EO in America since the US Patriots Act, and a couple of others Bush put into place. One of which allowed him to give his own interpretation of the laws as long as he sees his interpretation as being for the good of the people.

There were 4 or 5 pieces of legislation that went through around the same time as the Patriots Act, which basically granted too much power to TPTB.

America is no longer the land of the Free. I know a few people that will probably be leaving the USA and hiking off to somewhere with more (or any) freedom.

If that comes to being in the UK.....I'll seriously be considering leaving. Just don't know where to. NZ seems a pretty safe place.

Thats just what i was thinking, with cameron and obama being thick as thieves at the moment my threat level is raised. If they try that here we'll have to up our ante.

we are kidding our selfs if we think that the gov needs things passing it just needs a meeting with each other then our stuff is gone

This is a very, very serious development and means TIME IS SHORT now for the endgame to begin. I'm not for sensationalising anything, but if this doesn't scare the bejeepers out of us all, what will?

This is the single most unsettling piece of news (in my opinion) since 9-11. There's little doubt now this whole world crisis thing is going to get very scary soon.

Patriot Act in America freaked me out just as much as this. The Patriot Act is the main reason I chose not to move over there. Had a move all planned and everything. Was thinking citizenship and going all the way into US life (minus the obese part). That act freaked me too much. This new bit is the end of my America-possibility.
