thats the trouble with relying on computers for everything.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

100% agree. Basically ANY device/item that uses software to operate screws up at some point, often several times a month/year.

Depends. In the olden days code was robust but now it is written quickly using development tools and the more complex you make it the more chance for a screw up.
Not that long ago I was looking at a bit of code that was about 200 bytes long. It was compiled under .Net so it had a 300Mb attachment. Crazy.
If done properly code is safe. Doing it properly is old fashioned so most code is not written correctly.

putting everything onto computers is just stupid and ill thought out, we only have to lose electricity and nothing works but can TPTB see that, no they are blinkered, "nothing bad will happen" like the rest of the population.

RE: Major train stations in cyber attacks
my phone is 4G but only used for emergencies, thats not very often.
any communicating I do is on forums.
I dont go into cities and any shopping I do is either local (food) or on the internet (non food).
I still pay (paper) bills by postal cheque, I'm kinda old fashioned.

We are more or less the same, the phone is only for mobile communication when one of us is away from home, also some basic data storage (as an aide memoir).
Food shopping is local and we are lucky there are two good hardware shops within a mile both prefer cash, where we can utility bills are paid in cash at the local post office. Cash is King.
.
Shelter, security, water, food, cooking, heating, lighting, first aid, medication, communication,
power (electricity), transport.

as far as cash is concerned its "use it or lose it".
local shopping is done in cash, corner shop and farm shop within 1 mile.
