I don't have household insurance, so they won't be getting a penny from me
being HA property we have contents insurance but not bricks and mortar insurance, forgive me for being thick but if you live in a flood risk area shouldnt you as the house owner pay the premiem for that risk??

C,mon in a fair society we would only be asked to pay for public services we actually use, I will never use meals on wheels, ring and ride, warden call, sure start, libraries, swimming baths, sports centers, gay and lesbian advice centers etc, but the sub human untermensch socialists rig the system so the tax payers get hammered to pay for the scrounging classes.

yes, i understand that council organised stuff is funded by a share of the general cost between rate payers but surely insurance firms are private firms( well the one my BIL works for is) and as such i shouldnt be expected to pay an excess because (say) Binary's house is in a flood risk area, after all i didnt tell him to live on a flood plain!!(sorry Binary dont take it personal its only an example! )

watch out for the spring tides then, i have seen the Barbican in Plymouth flooded during this time.
