Romney has made it clear hes not keen on Europe as we pose an economic threat to the US, He is also rabidly pro Israel which means he probly will help the Israelis start yet another war against Iran.

For me I prefer the more cautious middle of the road approach of president Obama.

Uh, what?

You know it was Clinton that was the direct cause of the global economic mess? Sure, we had some problems, but the Clinton administration repealed the Glass-Steagal Act in 1999 and changes throughout the 1990's to the Community Reinvestment Act meant Personal and Investment banks could act as a single entity and those who would normally have no chance of getting a mortgage had to be given them with little in the way of credit reference checks.

The poor in America have the opportunity to pull their own socks up, they do not need social programs that are going to bankrupt their country in the medium to long term unless everyone wants to go back to substance farming.

W/R to Israel, I think both Romney and Obama will be pushed or pulled by the same forces to do or not do what it is they will do or not do.

Any American with a bit of sense should be voting for Gary Johnson, so I expect him to get a couple of thousand votes.

He's all for people owning guns, and although he doesn't support big business specifically, what he does do, is support business as a whole, regardless of the size. Obama's policies are so heavy on business, that a small business owner will be screwed over by all the paperwork, rules, regulations, and crap like that. A business of 3 people will need to hire legal help to just go over all the regulations coming on. That's not going to help business grow. That's not going to help the economy come back inline. Obama is for a 45% tax for rich people. Yes they can afford it, so the rich will stay rich. But what if you aspire to work hard and make loads of money. That's a great way to discourage people from trying hard! Having a 45% tax! The poor will stay poor, and the rich will stay rich. Give the poor a reason to make money, and they'll step up. But, guess what Obama is looking at doing. He's all for creating the welfare state!!! That's worked a treat over here. Wait, doesn't the welfare state cause people to become dependent on the state? Isn't that socialist?

Further to this, Obama is forcing people to have Obama-Care. Small businesses are having to fit the bill for healthcare for everyone in their employ. That's not going to be financially viable. The big businesses can already afford that. So really, that policy will be helping the big businesses and stopping their competition from reaching up and effecting the market...wait, that sounds like someone that's supporting a monopolistic system.

FEMA!!! Are you serious?!?!? FEMA is dangerous, and not a good part of America. Obama supports a small military. Great idea, let's cut the jobs in the military. That'll, not only help the unemployment, but will also show the US as a weaker military power. But it's okay, the ex-military will be able to claim their food stamps and dole money!!!

If you want to read what Obama says on his websites, and then check Romney. Romney, is by FAR, the lesser of 2 evils.
Totally forgot to say, Obama is all for opening the boarders. Once again, that's worked a treat for us!

Boy are you so wrong on so many points
Its FEMA who got most of the million plus meals into new York, its FEMA that arranged for thousands of rescuers and kit to be moved to new york, It was FEMA who moved thousands of power workers from across the US to be ready to move in Before Sandy hit,FEMA is the agency that has actively campaigned for citizens to get 72 hour kits togther, We all saw Bush and the republicans efforts in New Orleans and Hurricane Andrew.

As for GUNS it was the REPUBLICAN president BUSH who introduced the PATRIOT act that saw Orwelllian powers given to agencies, Twas the REPUBLICANS who empowered the ATF to be able to do attacked like WACO and Ruby Ridge, It was the REPUBLICANS that hired Blackwater to go into the Hurricane Andrew disaster area with orders to DISARM all survivors they found with guns.

As for CREATING jobs to deal with the high unemployment, the DEMOCRATS objected and campaigned to stop Car plants going to Mexico, Loco plants going to Mexico and Canada, DEMOCRATS fought to keep the US Steel industry going. The REPUBLICANS allowed the car and train makers to go overseas FOR MORE PROFIT and THROWING THOUSANDS OUT OF WORK.

es.

You know it was BUSH and the Republicans who IGNORED all warnings about COMCAST and the other massive company that lost billions, REPUBLICANS who REFUSED to control the rampant lending to the sub prime market, REPUBLICANS who blocked efforts to real in Fanny Mae and the other banks, REPUBLICS who refused and even blocked investigations into the speculators and stock market dealers that led to the crash like BCCI, Lehman bros, etc

Only because the rest of the world had deregulated so American banks could not out-compete those in Europe and Asia. Clinton let the genie out of the bottle. If the Republicans had tried to put it back in, the rest of the world would have had a field day trading the $ down to junk.

RE: US ELECTION TODAY!!!!!
NR, if you argument is Republican VS Democrat, then fair enough. But look at the policies of the candidates. Yes, policies change when in power, but it's all we've got to go by, other than previous experience.

Wait, previous experience......Obama increased the US debt in 2 years, more than Bush did in 2 terms!!! I'm not vying for Bush being good. I'm saying that Obama is not the lesser of the evils. He is VERY clearly pushing socialism!!! I thought, you of all people would not be supporting that.

As for the help FEMA did in NY. Yes, that did that. I'm not knocking them for it. But there's a hell of a lot more to FEMA then just aid work. Oh, and they've actually ran out of bottled water.

As for disarming in the hurricanes, you're right. But at least they had guns to begin with. Obama is hugely against gun ownership.

I agree with BDG, Gary Johnson. But he's never going to get into power. So any vote for him will just be a thrown away vote. It's like is one person in the UK was totally wrong to get into power, but it was a lesser of 2 evils situation, I'd vote for the lesser evil, instead of throwing my vote away on UKIP. However, when there's not a lesser evil, UKIP get the vote. Same as this American vote, Obama is clearly not the lesser evil, when looking at the policy of American fundamentals!!! The founding fathers (not just as a race issue) would not be happy with his vision. Yes, they'd be unhappy with the others, but his would be most hated.

RE: US ELECTION TODAY!!!!!
Why can't we just send a bunch of Royal Marines and SAS over and take charge of them ?

You know, liberate them from this 2 candidate system and give them democracy.
