Hi from Aberdeen
Hello, I'm Dave from Aberdeen.
I have been prepping for about a year and a bit. Reasons for this is not due to any impending whatevers, just so I have my ducks in a row should we become "off grid" so to speak. I have the basics covered, comms, food, fuel etc and always looking to expand where ever possible.
I had been looking to see if there was any like minded people in my town but so far no joy. Was hoping to arrange a regular meet to discuss perps etc... I will keep looking. For now just want to say hi and look foraward to contributing where I can.

RE: Hi from Aberdeen
Hi Dave
Welcome to the forum.
There are quite a few people with the off grid style, including me. The wife and I, are looking for a home to buy. We've found one with a 100ft garden, that she's letting me experiment with. Already agreed a half garden polytunnel, and rocket heater stove/thermal mass bench, hydroponics and aquaponice, solar, wind, water, and everything else!!!
I'll keep you up to date, through this forum.
But for now, welcome to the forum, and we look forward to hearing from you and about you.
