Hi all, Jace here.

I've just signed up as a member, but have been trawling through all the info on the main site and forums for the past couple of months.

I guess in many ways I'm the same as a lot of people here (ie. family think I'm crazy for wasting money on prepping), and different in others - I'm Kiwi born, Aussie bred and been living in China for over a decade.

Hopefully I can keep getting some good info here to help with my preps, and maybe provide some points that can help others out too.

How's China?

I've been here pretty much most of my adult life up till now, working in a Chinese company, so my situation is a little different from most expats (who are usually young pissant teachers on their gap year, 50+ pissant teachers looking for young girls, students or people sent out by companies overseas on full expat packages).

I guess my lot is much the same as most here - paying off a mortgage, worrying about my kids education, and trying to deal with the vagaries that life tends to throw up at us all.
