Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.
people increasingly divorced from the land.

Yes he fellow land owning tories want to build another 2.5 million new homes on green belt land but of course no where near where they live. Prince Charles the UKs best argument for a REPUBLIC loves the rural balance so much he bulldozed two hamlets that were hundreds of years old just so he could build the executive development of Poundbury. Just like they are 100% totally supportive of Fracking in the countryside, but preferably / only Ooop North even though the gas deposits are just as heavy in the Home Counties........ Oh wait the rich tories and royalty live in the Home Counties

more and more people come to live in this country, more and more babies are being born and TPTB want to build not on brown field sites or do up old abandoned houses-of which their are loads in every town and city...no, they want to build NEW homes on farmland, they cannot see that that cuts down on the acreage available to actually grow food for the increasing population, even a stupid chav schoolboy can see that, why cant they??
I don't want to get side lined onto politics here, I am simply talking about people who haven't got a clue about the countryside.

Tis simple Mon Ami, 65 million people ( soon to be 70 million) living on a limp of land that can only sustain 47 to 55 million in modern conditions or less than 30 million in Victorian conditions.

People should be suspicious of farming. Modern agriculture is terrible for the land.
It's not the end of the world, but you can see it from here

Amen to that when I worked for an energy company that was building wind farms we suspended the environmental upgrade payments to a farmer because the way he decimated the hedgerows we planted as part of the greening up of the land after we built the wind farm.. He just attached this huge rotary cutter to his jcb and shredded the hedges down to stumps and he even did it in the spring when wildlife was breeding.
I also note that now when a farmer ploughs he is no longer followed by hundreds of birds eating the worms and grubs the plough digs up...... because there are NO worms or bugs left in the sterile soil. no, we have generations of birds who are too lazy and go on bird tables to get fed sunflower hearts not look for worms themselves, and the gulls are all too busy on landfill tips!!
![]() didn't you know that's how hedges are cut in the countryside NR? its called a flail, how the heck did you think they did it? by hand? just goes to prove my point.

We required the hedges to not be cut to less than 1.5 meters high and 1.2 meters wide and NOT during the nesting season, that idiot almost completely defoliated the hedgerow and he did it with a device that was so blunt it ripped rather than cut the hedgerow.
hedge trimming is done with a TRACTOR not a JCB, as are most jobs on a farm.
yes, I does rip it somewhat and makes a hell of a mess on the road, but it grows back again. bont get behind one of these when its operating you car will get covered in shards of timber shreds.
