I fear it's only a matter of time before someone, or a group decide to resist for whatever ideology and bring urban warfare to our streets. The chaos a well orchestrated campaign would bring is capable of shutting down major cities and their infrastructure. Think how effective the IRA were with their campaigns. I dread to think the carnage a few determined people with those Skorpions would wreak in a shopping centre at Christmas, and I guarantee the Government has thought the same as well. It does make you think how many shipments have got through and hat weapons may have been in them. It looks like we already have AKs and Sub machine guns, how long before the RPGs start arriving, then we are in a world of shit.

as with any terrorists, they will aim for maximum effect and maximum coverage, and this will mean any targets will be in a city and probably a major city, most likely London, although other cities will be targeted, the strategy for preppers/survivalists is obvious.

Guns are for what you use them for. Your reasoning is why many of the fine semi auto sporting rifles and shotguns are not available to you in your country, and why you have no pistols. They are only for killing people???

And the very same thing could have been said for the Mauser, Enfield or any other military weapon turned civilian sporting tool.

I will hunt with an AR15 this year, I hunted with an AK last year. Many over here do. After 70 years as part of the firearms world the "evil black rifle" has entered the arena of sporting firearms.

The evil is in the minds of the people that brought them to your shores and those who arranged the "sting" with the intent of instilling fear in your spirits so they could continue their oppressive actions.

No, what you mean is that 600rpm scares you.

Any semiauto will fire rapidly, how you use it is up to the nature of the individual who owns the firearm, not the firearm itself.

You are assuming that any semiauto firearm will, and must, be used for devious purposes, making the item itself demonic.

Why not restrict all vehicles to 20 mph because "speed kills"? Perhaps 5mph would be better because a 40 mph head on total might still kill someone!

Or outlaw all anesthetics and pain killers because they might lead to addiction? That would eliminate the drug problem, correct? No more deaths due to OD, no more junkies.

You can try to demonize the item all you wish, insinuate that hunting is a devious activity or that killing people is all a gun is good for. It has worked well for you so far.

Because of people with your opinion, You can not even obtain the basic survival firearms you need without authorization from a bunch of other people that share your opinion.
