RE: new labour leader.
Maybe like many other people he feels he doesn't need to sing an "anthem" that glorifies a family of priveleged scroungers that live off the money of hardworking "subjects". How can anyone live in a country that claims we are all free and equal when we are subjects of these parasites. If we had an anthem that glorified the people who made this land rather than an elite, then i would be glad to sing it with all my heart.

Irrespective of my thoughts on JC and his policy's which I haven't aired on the forum, I stand by my earlier quote .....

This has nothing to do with class or socialism or capitalism or education or policy's etc etc, the guy just doesn't seem to be a born leader. Can you imagine him negotiating for the benefit of the UK with the likes of Merkel or Putin or other world leaders?

cant we get away from royal bashing? what would you rather have? president Blair? cos that's the alternative. the royal family attracts lots of tourists, the Chinese and Yank tourists cant get enough of royalty seeing as how they don't have any of their own, also they are good for trade and business. royalty employs a lot of people, would you rather see these people out of work? and I don't just mean butlers and flunkies. now, can we get back to prepping please?
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

RE: new labour leader.
what are you talking about? the pyramids are in Egypt.....
look at all the hoohay when Diana died, the royal family mean a lot to a lot of people, more than any bloody president ever did.
anyway like I say, lets get back to prepping, even Corbyn cant do anything much until 2020 and the next election, he might be able to influence a few laws and make a few speeches, just tinker at the edges mostly but he's pretty hamstrung until or unless he can get real power and that wont happen until the next parliament, that's if he lasts that long, and I think the knives will be out for him long before then.

Don't be so sure, have you seen how much fuss there has been in the last couple of days about Harry growing a beard; or the amount of (overseas) interest there is in the Royal babies, or the Royal Weddings, or for that matter any Royal visits etc! People not only in the UK, but all over the world are interested in our Royal Family and as BP say's it really is a big money generator for the UK.
Sorry BP, not prepping related I know and going slightly off theme....!!

RE: new labour leader.
The royals are as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike is my view...as for tourists ....they are welcome to come and look at the palaces and what not....and they still would.....let the royals earn their keep off their estates ....not one penny should come out of our pockets, what a waste of space....loving ones country is one thing i do believe in .....hangers on ...is a thing of the past.....it does NOT make anyone more English.....sorry BP and any others that take offence.
