Same here, not had a passport since I was 19, so 11 years. Can make things difficult, but it's simple enough to get out of the country should you need to.

the only passport i ever had was a "British visitors passport" back in 1977 when i visited relatives in Canada.i dont want to leave this country, i was born here and have lived here all my life, i am proud to be ENGLISH (i am not British...the british isles is where i live but my nationality is English)
