Why NR doesnt want Riverside or Lakeside property

Well the house I'm moving to is about 150 yrs from the sea shore. Short of a tsunami on the scale of the one in Lucifers Hammer it is as safe as anywhere, and to be honest i'm not too worried about a tsunami happening anytime soon. There's a very good reason why our ancestors migrated along coasts and rivers when they first jumped out of the trees, access to a plentiful supply of fresh food all year round.

It's like having a supermarket on your doorstep even after tshtf, just without the annoying checkout operator trying to make small talk
