Now, call me cynical, but this smacks to me off Newcastle Council keeping on their staff who did maintenance and modernisation on council housing, the running a 'self build event' where they tell all of the people that attend that they are not allowed to do any work unless they are qualified in the trade they are going to do the work in and have CSCS cards.

But not to worry as we have these guys in our 'co-operative' that you can hire.

And we all know what council workmen are like.
