35 years ago cities like London, Birmingham etc where places where regional oiks like myself dreamed of visiting, fabulous museums, bright lights, trips round Soho, shows, cabarets, casinos, resteraunts , visit palaces, take tours, soak up the culture and history etc get your photo taken with a bobby or guardsman

Now they are places known for great expense, gang violence, terrorism, public health scares, epidemics, bombings, riots, ethnic crime and violence, looting, over crowding, , get your CCTV image recorded by the Met, get battered by a riot cop, and get chased away from the palaces for taking photos.


Like it or not the undeniable fact is we live in two separate countries now.
