Socialism is simply a term used to try and make parasitism appear respectable, its a moniker to make one creature living as a parasite off the back of another acceptable.

Five people get together and discover a commonly shared concern about disasters and society, they decide to become preppers, they work hard, cooperate, train, learn, save money to buy a plot of land, they save hard and buy supplies, tool and equipment and build up a thriving survival system for their families.

Then along comes a socialist, sees what the preppers have worked hard for and says " That's not fair, I don't have what they have, they are better prepped than I am, they should be forced to give me a share of what they worked for cos they have good stuff and I don't"

That's socialism.
