Obama spurred the largest number of black votes in history, and many of them didn't know or care what his political stances were. They would have voted for him no matter what party he was or what agenda he had.
If he loses the next election I could see there being widespread rumours of election rigging due to institutional racism amongst black communities. No doubt fuelled by racist black figureheads like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.
I've believed for quite a while that it wouldn't take much to catalyze a repeat of the LA riots, and this could easily start the chain of events. One peaceful protest gets out of hand, one video of police brutality gets out a la Rodney King, cue blacks running riot again.
Oh wait, that's virtually the same thing that caused the UK riots last year... what a coincidence
