North Korea has begun fuelling a rocket for a launch condemned by the West as a banned missile test, a Japanese newspaper reported on Thursday, citing a source "close to the government" in Pyongyang.

Yeah, I heard about this.

I made a thread "Japan.....Americas first line of defence" or something like that.

It seems long ranged missile testing is being called "Re Ar Teshting Shatirite for space chravel" (I love Team America style accents).

Japan are saying they'll shoot it down if it comes too close to them. The thing is, if it is a satillite, it means they could pitch a nuke and emp an area, or something like that.

It's a worrying thought.

They showed it's trajectory on one site going between two of japans islands....
shouldnt a satelite launching rocket go straight up? Not sideways???
I mean even if it is just a test surely its controlled and they could bring the empty rocket back down in their back yad more or less.

'Fraid not Mike, an orbital rocket launch does go out at an angle. However that is usually done over your own shitpile of dirt than some other poor buggers.
