Hi all.
Names Eddie.
Location is the central belt in Scotland.
I'm 40+ , married with a family , ex-Army.
Anyone with a modicum of common sense and a bit of memory recall - should quickly arrive at the idea that our society is failing.
It's not hard to miss , lack of respect for property and person , increasing violence in inner city , moving out to suburbs now.
Coupled with the unemployment situation , rising prices , fuel strikes etc
It's going to fail sooner rather than later.
Having military experience gives me a headstart in a lot of the basic aspects like bushcraft/fieldcraft , map reading , weapon handling and survival skills.
I also have a keen interest in game fishing ( trout / salmon ) and coarse fishing too.
I'm sure there are others on this forum with basically the same skillsets as myself , so its nice to be in good company.
I hope to gain some more insight into other details in planning to survive in this exact situation.

Trying very hard not to be paranoid.....and it aint getting easier.
