Bug Out Camping For Women Preppers

Hi Everyone,

I thought it might be an idea to have a women only bug out camping trip? I had this idea last night whilst testing out a new tent in my back garden.

I would like to go wilderness camping on my own and presume there are others in a similar situation may want to do the same? As we all know, lone females can become a target and off the beaten track encounters with thugs is not what any woman ever wants no matter how well prepared for it she maybe in a PSHTF world.

At the moment it's just an idea and the where, when and hows will be worked out in the next few weeks. If there are a few of us it could be quite useful if we have a particular area of interest with regards to any element of prepping, survival, homesteading etc etc to maybe share your knowledge on that subject. We all have different experiences and perceptions about prepping and so just coming along to test your kit and chew the cud would be good.

Go for it ladies, it can only be beneficial to find out methods, systems and kit that work best for you, and if it does work invite Ladies from other forums to go with you.

BoB, A great idea. Go for it, it certainly makes sense. It might be an idea to buy some large tents, so that you can have five or six women together for safety. You cannot be sure that there are no villains about. Make sure you have some form of weaponry with you. Kenneth Eames.

A location has now been secured for wild camping. Dates to follow.

Itinerary so far:
Firelighting, exchange of info and intel, Talk on radios and all things communications, Shepherd sling making and practice, Make a Hobo stove, Make a penny stove, Campfire cake(cooking and eating of), Homemade dehydrated meal testing, have a beer or some vino collapso.
