Hi, welcome to the forum.
If you're totally new to prepping, my first word of advice is, don't get caught up with gimmicks.
Learn skills that will help you survive (bushcraft stuff, first aid, etc) then learn to use a knife. All the while, saving a few bits of long life food, like tins, dried/dehydrated/UHT, and start storing them. That's the best way to get started. A few tins here and there, and learn skills that save lives (your own and other peoples).
What is it that you're prepping for?
