Big Grin  Surviving The End Of The World As We Know It - Tactics, Techniques and Technologies f
I'm currently reading "Surviving The End Of The World As We Know It - Tactics, Techniques and Technologies for Uncertain Times" by James Wesley Rawles. It's written by the American who set-up the Survivalblog.com daily blog website and although it's geared very much to the USA the principles are very similar. The writing style is very conversational and it becomes difficult to put down once you start a chapter. I'm a fairly recent survivalist convert but I've been low-key prepping for some time and this book is a ready reference (although it could be improved with a few diagrams and graphics in my view) for the G.O.O.D. bag.Smile

Brian,

I have also got that book and in my view it is better to read this prior to an event and use it to help you plan your pre event shopping and help you prepare.

It is also of use in your bookshelf after an event for reference and ideas but doesn't really contain the information you need for a GOOD bag. Which in my view should contain only what you need to get to to your retreat.

(Thanks for moving this.)
