If we are actually living in the "pre-attack glory" now then you can keep it! roll on post attack, lets see what that brings..... surely it just can be any worse can it? HuhBig Grin

No really, it just can't be......
If you ever start taking things too seriously, just remember that we are talking monkeys on an organic spaceship flying through the universe.

we want to be a bit further back than "pre-attack glory"!! if their quoting an affected rate of 30% we want/need more like 50% at least!!(and thats "die-off" not just affected)Big Grin

like you say, bring it on! cant be any worse than it already is!Big Grin

ok not sure what im more worried about the facted that goverment departments actuly have a plan in place for a zombie attack or the fact they think they would be able to contain it with only a 30% infection rate, last year the police in the citys that had riots folded they could not contain the riots,
but now they would be able to contain 30% of the population if they where flesh eating zombies,

The thing is, they did not have a plan for it. The MOD were asked if they had a plan and they said it would be up to the cabinet office to co-ordinate. The cabinet office said 'We will try to fix it' - not much of a plan.

What would you expect the infection rate to be it if measure were taken to contain it? What is the rate of influenza infection each year? Maybe that is a bad measure, as people do not try to agressivly pass on influenza - well, unless they are a bit unstable.

In the UK I think around up to 15% of people get flu each year. If you doubled that, believe me, the country would be on its knees anyway, never mind if people were zombies.

Keep in mind being a zombie can be cured; influenza cannot.
