Nothing will come of this.

They've been threatening to fire a missile for a while. Next thing you know, they're making missiles.....after having already threatened to fire them. After that, they are making long distance rockets.....wait, haven't they already threatened us? The US would be able to shoot down the missile long before it reaches the US. Then retaliation, and NK are screwed.

NK's only chance is to send a nuke into orbit and get it to drop while above the US.

NK itself has been threatened with nuclear annihilation from the USA more than any other country on earth. This new development will be music to the USA's ears as it justifies placing more Anti Ballistic Missile "shield" weapons on Russia's and China's far eastern doorstep, a move that Russia and China have been expecting going by recent comments from them, and which they see as an act of aggression in advance of a first strike against them.
