The economy is screwed, learn to do without it.

For those who think that rising GDP and share prices point to a recovery, good luck. GDP means nothing, cold weather increases GDP when people burn more gas/coal/oil. Rising share prices mean that the people with money are trying to convert that money into something more solid - shares in a company that owns assets - all fuelled by an interest rate so low that savers are losing money.

Fiat money is a bad idea right now, get your wealth into something solid or prepare to lose it. You can't eat your bank statement. ( Actually you can but it has low nutritional value compared to a bag of spuds).
