The sin-bin solution: New crackdown on unruly pupils to prevent a repeat of riots
A new generation of ‘sin bins’ for unruly pupils is to be rolled out to crack down harder on violence in classrooms and prevent a repeat of last summer’s riots.

Youngsters excluded from school will face a regime of tighter discipline and compulsory reading and writing lessons under plans to be unveiled by Education Secretary Michael Gove.

Hmmmm odd innit that in the very poorest and most impoverished parts of the UK namely the North East and South West our disruptive kids did not go on the rampage looting and burning, Indeed when two idiots tried to do so in Washington Tyne and Wear other young people reported them to the police. I wonder ( not to hardly) what is the common denominator that makes the people of Tottenham, Salford, Leciester, Birmingham etc riot ?

Probably the weed they smoke. My neighbours two lads smoke it, now whilst they're okay with me and mine because if the they wer'nt i'd batter the crap out of them, they do burgle and such and the police are allways there. LOADS of people smoke weed everywhere you go around here. thats all you smell and the common denominator is its the knob head lads and girls A.K.A. Jeremy kyle types that smoke it and cause all the problems.

I don't think that this is quite what is needed. Add to this, they should be contained in dungeons with bread and water and discipline as in the army of 1914. Plenty of discipline, laying out of kit,etc.. This might produce some decent citizens. But it will not happen, too many 'do-gooders'. Kenneth Eames.

I actually managed to have a basic converstaion with my 13yr old white 'Gangsta' nephew about this. He thought it was great! His exact words were. "I would get great boasting rights and I'd meet more like me!"

oh well, i suppose by age 13 they are already too set on the path they will follow through life, probably in a gang from which there is no escape except death. you have to catch them a lot earlier i think.
