People in poorer parts of UK should be paid LESS: Osborne's plan to end public sector national pay deals

Sooooo are you willing to pay higher taxes to support the poor public sector workers? Coz I ain't! They have a pretty darn good pension plan in large part paid by the tax payer. I can't afford one. When I retire, I'll have my state pension and that's it. So no, I have no problem with the public sector wages and conditions being brought in line with the private sector. They've had it far too easy for too long.

Hmmm so they pay the best money in the south east and the least in the provinces, 5 years later all the brightest and best cops, nurses, doctors, engineers etc will have taken up jobs on the home counties and the rest of us will be left with the second best, how to throw an election in one fell swoop.

not too surprising, all the people who want to earn BIG money head for the South East anyway, as far as MP's are concerned the provinces dont exist anyway-until its election time that is.

I do think this could lead to massive civil unrest by the unions, public sector, young students etc, and this time I will support them.

MPs wouldn't be able to answer a question like that. A Yes/No answer question would cause them to talk for three hours avoiding the question.
