Current threat level
The current threat level from international terrorism for the UK is assessed as SUBSTANTIAL.

The threat level for Northern Ireland-related terrorism is set separately for Northern Ireland and Great Britain. In Northern Ireland it is SEVERE and in Great Britain SUBSTANTIAL.

SEVERE means that a terrorist attack is highly likely; SUBSTANTIAL that an attack is a strong possibility.

We're always on Substantial. Since we came down from Severe last year, we've not been lower than Substantial, even once.

I think Im on Terror alert orange. But that could just be the efficiency rating of my fridge.

WIll be intersting to see what they put it up to for the Olympics. I was surpised nothing happened at the World Cup in Africa last year or whenever
