Some things you can't plan for.

This is going on just now. How on earth can you plan for this?

After TSHTF you can use some pre planning to help you if your BOL or retreat is your home. If your neighbours homes get abandoned or damaged see if you can access their gas shut off valves usually in a cabinet on the outside wall. Especially if you happen to be in a quake area or perhaps some military action has caused major damage to structures where you live it is important to be able to shut off gas supplies so any damaged pipes or fitting dont leave and allow explosive levels of gas to form near your home.

Good idea that, not just gas and fire, but water damage too.
