The Police do what they want, ignoring the courts and the laws and face no censure.

Someone once said that in a Police state when you look in your mirror and see plod behind you do you get worried? Everyone does even older people who had a lot of respect for plod.

The Stasi are here and well entrenched.

i guess we are to a certain degree but my personal definitions differ slightly, as im sure everyones does to some extent, although i must admit that quote about seeing them and being worried really does ring a chord with me
