Brick  New to forum and in Londonistan
Hello All,

Am new on here and worried about days to come.

Many thanks, Skean Dhude, for setting up this site.
I am learning a lot but my progress is slow in getting preps underway.
I wish I had started years ago. I have 2 young sons and am really worrying about SHTF and TEOTWAWKI and I am very far from ready.
I have spoken to my 4 best friends about prepping and they all look at me like I am crazy and need a shrink! My brother and brother-in-law are almost as bad and just try changing the subject. I am beginning to think they and their families will all end up dead for lack of preparing.
Living in Londonistan (top marks to whoever invented this name!!! :-) ) does not help me feel any safer but rather far less so for obvious reasons.

Best of luck to you all in your preps and thanks for reading this rambling first post.

Welcome to the site.

Hope you have a great time with us. Any questions, please feel free to ask. I ask LOADS of questions, so don't feel odd asking anything.

RE: New to forum and in Londonistan
Thanks so much for the warm welcome.
Much appreciated.
I have been reading up on prepping quite a bit and started buying up extra food slowly. I am currently unemployed due to choosing to look after my kids rather than lose them. Am now looking for new work and so am currently on a severely limited budget.
Funny thing how prepping has already helped!
The extra food I had accumulated turned out to have been acquiured just in time. My payments had been stopped and I was not told. This then meant that I fell back on the stored stuff I had just bought. Follow that up with the bad weather in the US a couple of days later.
Thank God for this site and others like it!
What would I have said to my little Generals if there was no food in my flat?

Despite all this, my friends (yesterday!!!) are still sounding skeptical about about prepping!!!! When will they learn???!!!
And by the way, how do I create a signature? I cannot find anywhere to do it...

Thanks much

Dodgy If you always have, on your person, at least 2 ways to make fire, you might be a prepper. Tongue
