The Greeks get democracy
Interesting that despite the fact that all in the West are in some kind of Democracy we never seem to get any input to the decision making process.

For some reason, which I am going to put down as a good reason, the Greek PM has decided to allow the Greeks to decide on the new EU bailout plan. There is much screaming and wailing from the EU but this could trigger the collapse of the Euro and start the slide we should have had years ago.

Now, of course, the slide will be harder for all of us. Which way will the Greeks vote, for the EU vote and slavery or against and to default?

It will be interesting. Very much like watching a horror movie.

The Greek PM may have agreed to something that he knew he couldn't sell when he got back home, so en route back to Athens he may have thought of the referendum idea as a way to get off the hook for his commitment spoken to Merkel and Sarkozy.

You seem to forget that Mr Cameron has a personal fortune of over £30 million. he is the establishment elite.
He must forget his bank account sometimes though and be just like us 'common' folk, Last year he managed to claim back £26000 on his expenses for his mortage. If I had remembered that 'we were all in this together' I wouldn't have bothered, Would you??

I've always voted UKIP for as long as I can, I have zero faith in our old boys network of corrupt politicians, to be mercenary I would be tickled pink if the IRA or Al Queada killed the lot of em, They have ruined the UK.

And as for the EU what a nightmare, its the the Mk 2 version of the USSR but using lies, guile and politics to achieve what they could not to with bombs or bullets.

Common Market, EEC, EC, EU now becoming the EUSSR. Socialism is a disease.

Don't count the chickens yet - looks like the Greek PM is being kicked-out so the referendum doesn't take place.

What makes my blood boil is so many of us want the UK out of the EU and yet the majority of elected representatives wish the opposite.
