if you click the "new reply" button then you can use the emoticons.

i think once its posted, it cant be ammended by user, only SD.

The only way to use the smilies is to post via the `New Thread` option, where you are able to use the smilies, just click on the one you want to use..

....you cant edit posts once they are posted, so to get it right first time, use the `review Post` first, read your post back to yourself, and then `post reply`,.... no-one sees it on ` Review Post`

well you can make smilies without using the new reply page, just use the correct symbols!

....i typed that ....when you click the smilies on the new reply page it just inserts some "code" ....if you type that the relevant smilie will show up ^^
