5th, Scythe13's under £5 project
Water water everywhere, and not a drop to drink...SCREW THAT, I'M THIRSTY!!!

Okay, this is my 5th sub £5 project, but it's got an anti-climax in it! No ice cream!!!

Right, time for the breakdown.

29x Tesco 2 litre bottles of water (£0.17 each)
Total: £4.93

Step 1.
Go to tesco and buy 29 bottles of water.

Step 2.
Tell cashier it's for the Glastonbury Festival.

Step 3.
Smile proudly at your new stock of 58litres of water!

Step 4.
Find somewhere to put it all....wait, maybe you should have done that first? Oh well, too late now, you've already bought it all. Oh well....

Enjoy.

You also have the added bonus of upto 29 x 2litre storage containers for once you've drank them & found another source of fresh water. Although if you find a source of fresh water, be sure to drink that 1st before your stores.

Might even splash out another 10p to make it 30 bottles much more pleasing number - hmm maybe I do have OCD after all...

My bottles have lasted YEARS!

Just make sure you don't store them on concrete...damages the plastic and can contaminate the water. Place the bottles on a layer of carpet instead of straight on concrete.

No Tescos here.
Went to Brookshire Brothers.
Loaded the cart up with 2 liter bottles of water.
Told the cashier it was for the "Glastonbury Festival".
She gave me a strange look and asked "what are you talking about?"
Paid the full amount and brought the water home.
Discount must be a UK thing... Wink

I fortunately work in an environment where I can get 2 litres of bottled "emergency" water very easily. They come in 6 pack boxes and we only use one. The rest are free to good homes or drinking at lunch. Needless to say I have a fair few squirrelled away at home.
