Newbie
Hello,Newbie from near Glasgow.
Been interested in prepping for a while now and after breaking my back in July in a motorcycle accident and thanking God that i had the foresight to take insurance to cover me for such things i decided to look into things more closely. (im expected to make a full recovery by early 2014).
Ive started by getting the wife on board and stocking up a months supply of food and water, torches, candles, cooking equipment etc. I reckon at the moment we could survive a month with no running water, gas or electricity (assuming no outside help or interference).

Welcome to the forum, from the opposite end of the UK, SouthWest.

Hope the recovery isn't too boring. Plenty of reading time at least.

Hi from Buxton!

Sorry to hear of your off, hope you mend quickly. I'm a keen biker myself, never been without one for the last 37 years and fully aware that I don't bounce like I used to!
