Aha my missus has been suffering agony with dry sore hands covered in little nasty cracks, its caused by the evaporative effects of the alcohol based hand gels she uses as a nurse, but she found an inexpensive cure. Its a cream made by Big Pauls wife its Meadowsweat and Lavender cream and by god it dont half work, her hands are long longer always red, sore and scaly dry. try persuading Big Pauls missus to sell you a jar of her stuff.
