Hello All

Hello All
I am a 50 year old man who is sick to death of the way this country is going. I am very new to survival prepping, but feel the time is right to make a start. I do not buy into nuclear war survival or anything THAT serious, but I do want to have a head start in getting by in looming economic/law and order collapse and the "August Riots 2011" scenario.

I feel that, as a start, I should be able preparing for a 30 day loss of power/water/food/medical services and am initially working in that direction. Once I get the hang of it I will extend to 90 days and then 180 days. Due to my domestic arrangements a 12 months power/ grow your own food/water supply and a remote "retreat" is NOT "do-able." I am hoping some sort of cavalry comes over the hill within that time.

Hoping to learn a lot more from you all.

Thanks,

Japadvan.

RE: Hello All
Welcome. It may be a bit daunting at first but take a deep breath, relax and read. It is quite simple really.

Ask if you have any questions.
