Its multi channel multi NATIONAL configeration means that as well as doing 26 to 28 mhz, apparent it also does the 28 to 30 mhz of the amatuer 10 meter band cos that ( I think ) is what the poles and ruskies use.
I've just ordered one!!!

Good job chap! Did you go for the whole set-up with the in car kit?

RE: RADIO COMMS - Lightspeed - 29 June 2012

NR beware of marketing gibberish.

Best selling CB in the UK...... sounds like the Carlsberg ad man has changed company buy fogot to take is famous "probably" word with him....

Dunno about Russian CB, but Poland had 27Mhz and also AM I think.... and there are a huge number of them out in their cars with big antennas spouting out all over.... its like UK back in the late 70s!!!

Not a whole lot of activity on 10m Ham bands FM at the moment....

It is one of those things. It won't be wasted but jumping off while we are discussing things seems a bit premature. It surprised me a bit.

Gotta push out the boundaries I reckon, and I think that this beast covers nearly every possible set of channels we want unless you go for PMR 446 up on the 440 Mhz range, If I scrw up I'm only danaging myself and I'm already so broken both physically and mentally if my efforts can help prevent others in the community making costly mistakes then I wont feel so damn useless.
