He seems to be rather well educated and speaks along similar lines to many of the wealthy in the US.
Not sure how survivalist/prepper that is, especially as he's moving around 3 miles a day (according to other videos I've seen). I think he was an ex marine. His home and everything got screwed over in Katrina. 10 points to the guy for becoming an internet legend.

I think i'd only be doing 3 miles a day pulling a 500lb trailer.....

Nice protest. Hope he dosn't meet any Mad max types on the road - or starving mobs or bored adolescents etc etc. Cool guy. Should be ok pre nationwide society crash, but a bit high visibility PSHTF.
