Yes read it this morning.
I think many of us suspected it may go this way. The EU Referendum was never legally binding. In the words of Peter Hitchens, It's either half in or half out depending on which way it goes.

LAC has summed it up, the vote was never binding but...more people bothered to get off their ass's and vote out rather than the rational voter who thought 'out' could never happen and did not vote and as such, awful though the consequences will be to the UK, we have to leave the EU.
Never waste a vote, somewhere in history people suffered to give you the privilege of that vote.

It will still happen.
If MP's threaten to vote against it then Theresa May will threaten them with an early general election with brexit as part of the manifesto. The last thing Labour want is an early election as they will be wiped out with comrade Corbyn at the helm. They will make lots of noise but their own self interest (remaining as an MP) will be their prime concern |
