Even vehicles over 20 years old are too complicated and expensive to repair yourself.

I suppose one answer is to get yourself a classic car (more as a hobby), easy to repair and service
but it will eat up your time and money.

my old Vauxhall Agila was fairly basic, never had too many problems with it, wished I had kept it now.
