Guardian Forecasts of Gloom and Doom

Granted that the Guardian's readership is of the mainstream left-leaning or "politically correct." So, does anybody really believe this poppycock?

Does anyone wish to educate those of us among the "deplorables" across the pond?

I think a better place to start Charles ,is how you see things over there in the land of the brave n free , with food banks becoming a growth industry (as it is here ) with millions of family’s struggling to keep a roof over their heads .

It’s not so much what anyone thinks in any one country in particular , we need to grasp the new paradigm we are entering into Globally and the dire consequences that it will bring ( to us all ) .

We need to understand life has changed things will never be the same , we will not be going back to how things were just a few months ago and on a worldwide scale ! ......it’s time to unchain yourself and look at the bigger picture because we are all in there front and centre .

RE: Guardian Forecasts of Gloom and Doom
The Guardian is toilet paper. It is always spreading doom and gloom but on the plus side it is losing money every day and is making these 'reporters' redundant. Couldn't happen to a better bunch.

As over there the world is split into Blue and Red, for some reason beyond me, What is Red in the US is Blue in the UK. Typical.

Anyway the situation is that we hav half the country crying and screaming that we should wrap everyone in cotton wool and we will have solved death and we have the others who want to get on with life and the noisiest ones are the ones that always get listened too.

Out society is screwed although that won't be a problem for long as we are replacing our whingers with whingers from a different culture so soon all these idiots will start to hit reality hard. The question is will this be before the tipping point or after. If before we can fix it. If after then there will blood, and lots of it.

This virus and its aftermath is insignificant. It is a distraction from reality and It's reaction of a government clampdown all over the globe is what we should really be concerned about. It is a test of how we will react and we folded asking for more and more restrictions because we are wimps. The western civilisation is on its last legs.

However, As preppers we should all be ready for everything going on here. It isn't like we haven't been talking about this for some time. Just via an unexpected course.

The media here refers to "red meat" Republicans and the Southern Rednecks of Scots Irish descent who cling to their Bibles and guns, whereas the urban metro-sexual, rainbow coalition democratic socialists regard themselves as blue bloods even though there is no old money among them, it all being a ruse and a lie, like everything they do, because they don't want the public to realize they are Reds in disguise who seek to deceive the minority classes into becoming the dependent welfare class of modern slaves.

People forget that Republicans were the party of Lincoln who freed the slaves, the Democrats are the party of Jim Crow laws, the Klu Klux Klan and that LBJs War On Poverty and the War on Drugs have served to keep their constituents poor, dependent and enslaved.

Personally I read the Guardian for a good laugh. The constant whinging and self-pitying amuses me.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

I don't take much notice of what they write in newspapers and I haven't bought a newspaper since the lockdown began.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.
