Remember than when things are screwed up the goverment usually has a finger in the pie. They mandate end dates for everything. I've seen million year old salt with a end date of a few years.

I look at it this way. I check preps that I'm not sure about and I'm pretty sure that 99% of my preps will still be better than eating fresh rats which could be the only meat left, besides us of course and I've even got a book for that.

I'm not bothered about the Govt, they wont exist in a post SHTF world .
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.
