nope, just a programme on BBC4(freeview channel9) tonight(Thursday 3rd may) at 8PM, The end of the world? a horizon guide to Armaggedon, scientists predictions of an IMPENDING apocalypse!

Thanks for the heads up. Not a lot was new, it was a bit of a clip-show of past Horizon shows, but I learnt a tiny bit more about H5N1, and the small pox bit was interesting.
Once again it made me nervous about La Palma exploding... no doubt I'll be having tsunami dreams again tonight. That's the price I pay for having such nice sea views I suppose.

the bit that really concerned me was the melting polar ice and the effect all that fresh water would have on the Gulf Stream!
