excellent website recomendation , good find.
it pretty much answered everything I wanted and brought a few things to my attention regarding a lot of the dificulties surrounding comms in a way that I understood enough to make a better choice and decission.
saved me wasting a whole load of money. and effort.
il stick to a pair of handhelds for now and concentrate more on a larger set up when all my other projects stop swallowing the rescources. no point wasting a few hundred quid on something that will be about as much use as 2 paper cups and a long string.
id rather be spending it on improving my defence first , got to live long enough to actually use a radio before its of any use.
although ive still bookmarked the amateur radio pages, no harm in learning a little more along the way.
