Does anyone know of or can recommend any good survival courses in the south of England? Weekend ones would be preferable but can take leave from work if necessary. Looking for one that teaches the basics of outdoor /wilderness survival.

I would question what you are going to get from an extended course. In the UK you are never far from some form of modern living. I think a basic course should do anyone living in the UK.
