Went to the dump this afternoon found a tumble dryer drum out of the machine bing light bulb moment. Going to make a fire pit out of it.
I'm going to make 3 x 6 inch legs and bolt to the base and sides. Bingo one fire pit that will out last anything you can buy made from stainless steel.
Failure is NOT an option

had one for years it stands on a old car wheel hub ,there bloody good

went to a festival many years ago, open fires were banned but these washing machine drums were provided free of charge as an alternative and they worked very well.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.
